No account, no server
SwiftCopy has no account and no server. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to log in to, and nothing syncs.
Your clipboard history stays on your Mac
Your History is stored locally on your Mac. SwiftCopy does not upload it anywhere. You can export a copy to a file you choose and import it again later.
What the developer receives from the app
Nothing. The app sends no personal data, no analytics and no telemetry to the developer.
You control your history
- SwiftCopy skips sensitive content when the app you copied from marks it as private.
- You can exclude apps from your history.
- Remove individual items or clear your history at any time.
Uninstalling SwiftCopy leaves its data folder behind. You can delete it from your Mac's Library.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. The developer receives only the information Apple provides about a purchase and never sees your payment details.
Permissions
SwiftCopy does not request Accessibility or automation access. Choosing an item copies it to the clipboard and closes the panel; you paste it yourself with ⌘V. SwiftCopy does not monitor your typing and does not send keystrokes to other apps.
This website
swiftcopy.app uses Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies and collects no personally identifying information.
Marketing links may include fixed campaign labels. For recognized image-to-text campaigns, this website carries those labels through its own navigation and includes the campaign source and button placement in its App Store links. These labels do not identify an individual. This attribution does not use cookies or browser storage.
