Clear clipboard history in SwiftCopy

By the maker of SwiftCopy

Open SwiftCopy’s History with ⌘⇧C to remove saved copies. You can delete one item, clear your history, or choose apps to ignore for future copies.

Delete a saved copy

Select an item and press ⌘⌫ to delete it. Press ⌘Z to undo a deletion.

Clear your history

  1. Unpin any pinned items you want removed: select each one and press ⌘P.
  2. Press ⌘⇧⌫, or go to Settings → History → Clear History.

Items you leave pinned stay in History. Clearing History cannot be undone and does not delete files you previously exported.

Keep copies from an app out of SwiftCopy

  1. Open SwiftCopy’s Settings, then History.
  2. Beside Ignored Apps, choose Manage….
  3. Choose Add Application… and select the app you want SwiftCopy to ignore.

Ignoring an app applies to future copies. It doesn’t remove anything already in History.

Clearing SwiftCopy’s History does not clear macOS Spotlight’s separate history. For details on storage and exports, read the SwiftCopy privacy policy.
